Front Desk Manager

Responsibilities: Greet guests as they arrive, handle any guest questions or concerns during their stay. Answer phone calls and email requests. Assist guests with getting into and out of their boats. Process payments for reservations, food, drinks or merchandise. General cleanup to maintain the appearance of the Outpost grounds, tents, office and restrooms.

Qualifications: Friendly personality, professional demeanor, 18+ years old, able to swim, able to lift 40 pounds, first aid certified or willing to become certified by our staff.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm with additional hours available on weekends and night events

Pay: $16/hour

Kayak/Adventure Guide

Responsibilities:  Greet guests and guide/assist them with any of the following activities: kayaking, paddle boarding, kayak quest, Escape River Island, Survive River Island, full moon paddles, special events, etc. Helping to ensure the comfort and safety of each guest while they are on land, water and getting into and out of the water. General cleanup to maintain the appearance of the Outpost grounds, office and restroom. Guide guests down the Waccamaw River while sharing interesting facts and stories from your experience paddling the river. Assist guests into and out of the water, stage and clean kayaks before and after use.

Qualifications: Friendly personality, professional demeanor, 18+ years old, able to swim, able to lift 40 pounds

Hours Needed: Spring/Fall/Summer (part time & full time)

Pay: $12/hour & sliding scale for kayak tours ($30 - $140 per tour depending on how many kayaks are on each tour)

Cleaners

Responsibilities: Clean and prepare glamping tents and treehouses for guests

Qualifications: Friendly personality, professional demeanor, 18+ years old, able to swim, able to lift 40 pounds, first aid certified or willing to become certified by our staff.

Hours Needed: Varies

Pay: Negotiable
